1 October 2005 · Lex Reinhart is listed as third generation Shifu in the first edition on the Ip Man Ving Tsun Genealogy and as Samuel Kwok’s student. Lex’s Baishi students are also mentioned in this exceptional book.

The lineage of our Wushu (Kung Fu) style goes back to Grandmaster Ip Man Dashi. Yip Man 叶问[1], also spelled as Ip Man[2] and also known as Yip Kaiman, was an exceptional Chinese martial artist. He had several students who later became martial arts teachers in their own right, including Bruce Lee.
Samuel Kwok Dashi has received his knowledge from the two sons of Ip Man, Ip Chun and Ip Ching, and passed it on to Lex Reinhart Dashi. According to Chinese traditions, Lex was adopted through the Baishi ceremony by Samuel Kwok in 1997 in Zurich, Switzerland.
